FAQS
CLASSIC LASHES
A single lash extension is applied to every one of your natural lashes giving you a naturally glamorous look. We don’t apply clusters of lashes and we won’t add extensions to your baby lashes.
1:1 application
HYBRID LASHES
Want a full, sultry and fluffy look? We can mix classic and volume lashes together, so you can have it all!
RUSSIAN VOLUME LASHES
Russian Volume lashes are created and made by Master Artist, Allie during the application process that is between 2-6D fans. A special “fanning” technique is used and is customizable based on the specific clients natural lashes and desires. These extensions give a fuller more dramatic effect over the classic lash look. For clients with sparse lashes we recommend a volume set, as they provide a lot of warmth and fluffy fullness to your lashes.
MEGA VOLUME LASHES
Mega Volume lashes are created and made by Master Artist, Allie during the application process that is between 7-15D using a special “flower bouquet“ technique. This style is meant for the bold client who is not afraid to stand out. These lashes are extremely light in weight which makes them safe for the natural lashes when applied correctly.
WHAT ARE FILLS?
You’ll set up appointments for a fill every 3-4 weeks to re-fluff your lashes. Eyelashes naturally shed just like all the hair on your body. On average you’ll shed 2-5 lashes per eye, per day.
During your fill appointment we’ll add extensions to your newly grown adult lashes and gently remove the older ones. Keeping your set looking fresh, full and fabulous. We can always add more or less volume to your lashes depending on what you’d like.
To be clear a fill is only applicable to clients who have 40% of their lashes still in tact, anything less will be considered a new set.
Feel free to send us a picture of your lashes if you are unsure of how many lashes you have.
HOW ARE LASH EXTENSIONS APPLIED?
A single lash extension is applied to each of your individual lashes, giving you a naturally glamorous look. The lash extensions are applied away from the lash line where the adhesive cannot be seen. This ensures a comfortable wear and that the extension is applied properly, without damage to your natural lashes. We will never apply clusters of extensions, an extension at the root of your natural lash, or on a baby lash, as this could cause damage.
Lash extensions should simply feel like an extension of your natural lashes. So comfortable that you can’t even tell you’re wearing them.
WHAT WILL YOUR APPOINTMENT BE LIKE?
Prior to your appointment we’ll discuss the look you want to achieve.
On the day of, we’ll go over all of the steps you should follow in order to maintain your fluttery new look.
Your service will take place on a plush massage table. You’ll lie down and relax while your KBB lashes are applied.
We’ll prep your eye area by gently removing any excess oil and debris, then place collagen boosting gel pads over your lower lashes.
The application requires limited talking to keep your eyes from naturally twitching. The more relaxed you are the easier it is to apply your lashes.
CAN I WEAR EYE MAKEUP WITH LASH EXTENSIONS?
Yasss honey! Please make sure you’re using water based oil-free eye makeup and eye makeup remover.
DO LASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL EYELASHES?
When applied correctly, eyelash extensions will not damage your natural lashes. Certified lash artists will apply one lash extension to one natural lash with proper isolation, weight and length distribution to ensure the integrity of your natural lash is maintained. Damage can occur if your lash extensions are too heavy, too long, or if the lash artist is using too much glue and gluing multiple lashes together without proper isolation. Damage can also occur if the client doesn't take care of their lash extensions; pulling lashes, tugging lashes, twisting lashes, not using oil-free/sulfate free products, not brushing lashes properly, not washing them properly, ect.
WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO REMOVE MY LASHES / HAVE A REACTION TO THEM?
If you have a reaction to the lash extensions we recommend contacting your healthcare provider first. Then, please contact us so we can remove the lashes for you using a a very safe cream remover product, which is an express cream formula that will not damage your natural lashes or hurt you during the removal process. The cream remover simply loosens the adhesive so that the lash extension glides right off of your natural lashes. No damage, breakage or pain will occur during the removal process, just lay back and relax!
LASH SHEDDING
On average your eye will naturally shed 2-5 lashes per eye per day. Please keep in mind that every client is different. Some clients may have 250+ lashes, while other clients may have only 80 lashes. Fill times vary for each client based on the client’s own number of lashes and the type of lashes they had applied (classic, hybrid or volume) , therefore fills could range from 2 weeks - 5 weeks. Based on an average 3-4 weeks is suggested for fills.
